Baba Yega
On Wednesday, my girlfriend Shannon and I went out to eat for our two year anniversary. We haven’t really been out to each much since converting to veganism. When trying to think of restaurants, Baba Yega instantly came to mind. I remembered the elegance of the atmosphere from when my brother Paul took me there during my vegetarian days. It stuck in my memory like a hidden jewel in the heart of Montrose.
When we arrived our waitress sat us near a beautiful scenery complete with a pond and fountain.
Shannon stared at the menu before realizing it was not a vegetarian let alone a vegan restaurant. I pointed out that it has several vegetarian options that we could easily convert to vegan dishes. I had a vegan club with fake turkey and vegan bacon, and Shannon ordered a vegan meatloaf. I tried to remember to take some pictures but as you can tell the food looked so good we couldn’t resist.
We have not explored the whole menu yet, but the friendly service and the wonder dishes we ate surely won us over.

We need to go out to eat soon I can show you places with vegan food ten times Better!
Thanks I would appreciate that.
I enjoy the black bean burger at baba yega. It always surprises me that they don’t have more vegan options on the menu… we should keep asking!
